Not exactly what one would consider as conventionally handsome, Jisoo possesses a charm in his features that will unabatedly grow on you. His presence, too, is not of an initially dominating kind, but you will soon find his aura captivating you, and stealing (away - because that's what you should call it if he distracted your attention away from everything else) the show. THE A-DORK-ABLE I love that adorably dorky side of him that shines through all his characters so clearly. There's an innocence about him that just makes you melt, and a pureness at the core of each character that you can't help but put faith in. That smile just kills me. Especially the sweet grin he has while looking at his phone (7). And him being all nervous and awkward while confessing (6)? Squeal. It's so true that guys are 100x more attractive when they're good with kids (9) ^.^ THE SWOON-FUL When he wants to, Jisoo can be totally heart-achingly swoon-worthy. It's something about the combination of the way he looks out of the side of his eyes (17), his expressive eyebrows, and that smirk you can't help but fall for. His gaze can be absolutely intense sometimes (which is different from the deep eyes some celebrities like Eric Mun just naturally possess), and his best angle ends in a tie by a half side profile (1), and from below (12 and 15). He's acted his fair share of bad boy roles considering his limited experience, and he almost gives off a Woobin vibe. There's something about his body language that he can manipulate to give off this carelessly casual air that's so fitting for his delinquent roles. A slouch that somehow makes him more attractive, and a deliberate air about his actions completes the final touch of an injured youth. (7) may be my favourite. I saw a clip on facebook before I had fallen for Jisoo, and without even knowing it was him, I completely fell in love with the character just from that one scene. And (12) currently holds its place as my phone wallpaper so ~ THE ENDEARING There's just this sweetest side to him. There's lots of variance here, but anything from an overprotective big brother kind of mood to a little kid with a big grin that never quite grew up. THE CASUAL This might be my favourite side of him (or it might be his adorkable). Perhaps because he seems like just the type of guy I'd like in real life. Idols I often find attractive on screen, are not, necessarily, people I would want to be friends with in reality, simply because their helplessness - the same thing that attracted me in the first place - would take so much effort to take care of. *cough* Jinwoo - though I love him all the same. However, Jisoo seems totally down-to-earth, funny, laid-back, and the type of guy that is just lovable anywhere. (1) is my - completely biased - favourite - because he reminds me of this guy I used to like in this one xD But I also like (4) and (6) because he looks so focused, and when is an attractive guy being focused a bad thing? :P Really, though, I like them all. Because you can totally imagine seeing him doing these things. Coming across him out on the street (2), in a cafe maybe (3) - though it looks more like someone's house... but we can imagine - and even at school (7). (5) and (8) are almost just as cute as they are casual - though (8) is also quite swoon-worthy - but most of all, wouldn't seeing him like this just make your day? And doesn't he just look so warm, and approachable - and huggable - in (10) ? THE EMOTIONAL Some actors make me want to cry when they do (*cough* Kim Soo Hyun), and although Jisoo isn't quite at that level yet, every time I see him act, it gets to me more and more. Rather than improvement, though, I think the main reason that happens is because he's the kind of actor that grows on you. He's the kind that entraps you, that you can never get enough of, and that you will never escape once his charms catch you. That's not to say he's not a good actor, because he most definitely is. He can hold so much emotion in a minuscule change in expression (2, 3, and 4), yet his wide range of expression can show an impressive breakdown when he lets go. (1 and 5 - 8) HIS VOICE I admit it - I have a thing for voices, just enough that I will notice if an actor has a nice voice. And Jisoo does. It fits him to a T. Indeed, you might not even notice it at first because it just sounds so natural, coming from him. And because of that, even though it's quite nice, I just can't bring myself to find it outstanding - because how can it be, when it just sounds so RIGHT. And although Jisoo's sweet, impressive, and likable, he's not someone you would associate with the words "extraordinary" or "outstanding" - more from his friendly, comfortable personality than a lack of talent. But it totally helps pull you into his acting. The deep, dark, and slightly questioning undertone of his voice adds an indefinable component to his roles - enhancing the innocent, clueless, and child-like quality of his that pervades every character he acts. Once I fall for a guy, his laugh will grow on me more and more. Jisoo, however, captivated me with his laugh from the first. It's somehow such a natural, yet somewhat awkward sound that fits right in with his voice and persona. And did I mention he's tall? Like, 186 cm, 6'1", tall. I know. I never used to be one about height (especially since I find Jinhwan adorably cute), but man Jisoo does change one's mind ;) Just look how tall he is >.< He has to bend down to take photos with fans. That's adorable. And - final thing, I promise - he plays the guitar. I dunno about you guys, but for me, music is only the most attractive thing a guy can do. So +10 ?
